The Triad Bassmasters was chartered in July of 2007. Since its inception, Triad Bassmasters has sought to promote the ideals by which B.A.S.S. was founded through good sportsmanship, conservation and community events that focus on youth and the future of the sport of fishing. Our club also reaches out to military veterans with a yearly Christmas project at a local shelter.
Club fund raisers are designed to defray cost of our members who qualify for the NC Federation Nation 6-Person Team. The club encourages camaraderie among its members fostered by attendance and participation requirements.
We welcome anyone that has considered joining a NC Federation Nation Bass Club to attend one of our club meetings and see what we are all about. We have fun while testing our skills against other club members in friendly competition on Triad area lakes.
Membership Requirements: Candidates must attend one club meeting and fish one club tournament to be considered for membership. We accept boaters and non-boaters. Boaters must show proof of at least $100,000 boat liability insurance.
We accept boaters and non-boaters (Boaters must show proof of $100,000 liability insurance)
Active participation is required : All candidates must be a member of the B.A.S.S. and join the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation upon approval.
We do not allow Jon boats, belly boats, or boats under 16ft in length due to the safety of both anglers. All boats must have a steering wheel and operable kill switch and full functioning livewells. Our tournaments are draw format; and Boater and Co-Angler share the time on the front of the boat. (Which means that you get 4 hours on the front, then you must allow the co-angler 4 hours on the front, they also get to go to there own spots) All tournaments have been changed to Sunday, due to members work schedule: We will draw for pairings at the ramp before the tournaments;
