Hurricane Try-out Info...

The Ohio Hurricanes will be holding open tryouts for the 2010 season on August 8 & 9th at Roemisch Fields in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Roemisch Fields are located at 35400 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills, Ohio 44094. The fields are located in the back by the Pavillion. We have openings in all age divisions.

Tryout times for both days are as follows:
10u,12u,14u... 9:00 to 12:00
16u,18u... 1:00-4:00
You only need to attend 1 day
Please arrive 30 minutes prior, for registration. Please bring a copy of your Birth Certificate

Should we indure inclement weather , Still go to Roemisch Fields and we will make a decision if we will stay at the Roemisch location or move to our 7000sq ft. Hurricane Training Facility located at 8755 Munson Rd Unit 8, Mentor, Ohio 44060.

Hurricanes Training Facility Update!

A MUST SEE!!!
The Hurricanes Training Facility is an absolute gem in Northeast Ohio. This 7000sq. ft. fully turfed complex located at 8755 Munson Road in Mentor (click on "locations" on the left to get driving directions) or click here. With batting cage and fielding area this complex is utilized by all ten Hurricane teams for conditioning and practices during the off season. Hurricanes Hitting, Pitching and Fielding Instructor.

Kasey Whitehead has joined the organization to offer our players instruction in "Hitting", "Fielding".
Kasey comes to the Hurricanes organization with great accomplishments including:
Division I All-American at Mississippi State. As a high school player in Roswell, GA.
Kasey was highly decorated:

2 time High School All-American

3 time All-State

1997 State of Georgia Player of the Year

Nike H.S. Player of the Year

Played Professional Softball for the Akron Racers
