MAY LONG IS COMING QUICK AND THERE IS LOTS TO DO.
North Stars 13, Chrome Domes 2
The headline tells the story. Sure, it was the Domes first game but Jesus, not a good showing. Yes, ofcourse we brought our high powered offence like always, but the defence really let the Domes down. Goals came from all three lines, Turbo still held scoreless. Defence played their usual stellar selves.
The team was on the ice early for a good warm up for this one, all memebers on the ice for a 9:00 pm start, but little did they know that we weren't to start until 9:15. It's better to make them think its earlier than later.
Not too many incidents in this one, kind of a open and shut case. We came, we kicked them, could have had a shutout for Jimmy but he squandered that be stopping the puck on the boards and then dragging it back to the net with him.
NO SHOWS: Moose, Trent, ans Skreety were nowhere to be found, and Chaz is still fighting the flu bug,(or hunting)team will have decided whether or not to put him on waivers or the 15 day DL by next game. Tolerance to illness on this team is not looked at lightly.
Next Game: Friday at home vs. Somerset, game time 8:45pm.
