Treasure Coast Lady Ballers: Welcome

The Treasure Coast Lady Ballers is a federal tax exempt non-profit 501(c) (3),competitive travel basketball organization. We participate in Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) tournaments during the season.

Our program provides the student athlete with the opportunity to play with and against the highest level competition state and nationwide while maintaining at least a 2.5 GPA and committing to 10 hours of community service.  Our program offers excellent coaching from our volunteer staff, who happen to be extremely knowledgeable and have played and coached the game of basketball.

Our Mission:

We are dedicated to educate and motivate each member of our program while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. We will strive to provide the opportunity for personal growth and development while also reinforcing self- confidence, competitive spirit and excellence in the classroom.

Congratulations to the Treasure Coast Lady Ballers for a great 2010 travel season:

The 8th grade team won the division II Florida State Championship.  These young ladies were ranked #1 in the USSSA State and National Polls.

The 9th and 11th grade teams competed in the AAU National Championship in Orlando.

These young ladies finished 7th and 11th respectively in the classic division.  Way to go Lady Ballers!

2011 Season:

It is exciting to see all of the Lady Ballers playing for their respective high school and middle school teams.

For the 2011 season we are planning to have teams competing at the 8th, 9th and high school grade levels.

The high school team will primarily focus on AAU and Exposure Tournaments throughout the 2011 Season. The high school team will consist of players in the 10th and 11th grades. The goal in 2011 is to help develop players to compete at the highest level and maximize players’ exposure to college coaches.

The 9th grade team will compete in Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), and United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) tournaments. Coaching the 9th grade team will be Coach Rick McHardy.  Coach Rick has held assistant coaching positions at Jupiter, Dwyer and Martin County High Schools. In addition he served as the head coach at Anderson Middle School and the Varsity head coach at Centennial and South Fork High Schools.
