Checkout the top of the freshman page and you will find a handout in MS Word where Coach Marty has provided the season ending stats for the freshman.  Congratulations to the club who had 10 batters hitting over .300.  Jake Shull led the team with a .500 average and 21 doubles.  Chris Bacchetti batted .400, and Reilly Oki was at .381.

On the mound, Daniel O'Brien gave the Bulldogs 8 wins with no losses.  Manuel Robles was 6-2, and Jake Shull had 6 saves.  The ERA for the bulk of the staff was around 1.5. 

Fantastic job guys.  The future of the program is looking GREAT!

Congratulations to the freshman players and coaches for bringing home a League Title!  For the freshman this is the first time they have not had to share the title with Lincoln since winning titles in 2007 and 2008.

Winning Pitcher:  Manuel Robles; 7 IP, 0R, 8H, 1BB, 1HBP. 

Manuel Robles pitched a complete game shutout to give the freshman Bulldogs at a minimum a piece of the SJAA crown.  Devon Denholm tripled, Matt Loscavio was 2-3 and Jake Shull was was 3-4 with two doubles.

How the freshman bulldogs scored:

T- 2nd: Lead off batter grounds out 5-3, Reilly Oki gets a base hit and advances to second on a E9, Cody Daniel works a base on balls, next batter strikes out, Manuel Robles hits a rbi single that scores Reilly Oki, next batter flies out F9 end of inning.

T-3 Lead off batter Jake Shull hits a double, next batter flies out F9, Matt Loscavio hits a rbi single that scores Jake Shull, Matt Loscavio advances to second on a E2 attempted pick off throw to first base and then advances to third on a passed ball, Chase Johnson gets on base via an E5 and Matt Loscavio scores,  next batter flies out F4, next batter hits into a fielder’s choice 6-4 end of inning. 

T-4 Lead off batter grounds out 1-3, next batter flies out F9, Josh Rogers hits a double, Jake Shull hits a rbi single that scores Josh Rogers, next batter grounds out 4-3 end of inning.
