Memorial Day Parade - Monday, May 28th
To celebrate our 60th anniversary, we are asking ALL teams, players and coaches, to walk in the Terryville Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 28th. This is an important milestone for the league and we would like as many players as possible to be there to represent the league. Parents of the younger players are welcome to walk with their children. Players should meet, dressed in uniform, at the Terryville Fire Department on Harwinton Avenue at 10am. The parade kicks off at 10:30AM from the firehouse and continues to Baldwin Park for Memorial Day ceremonies.
60th Anniversary Night Out/Dinner - Friday June 1st
Come celebrate our 60th anniversary. Join us for an adults only night out on Friday, June 1st at KC Dubliner Grille & Pub, 292 Speilman Highway, Burlington. Casual dinner buffet begins at 6:30PM followed by the band, Cajun Ray & the Steamers, in the bar from 8:00PM - midnight. Dinner including cover charge is $25 per person or join us for the band later and pay only $5 cover charge at the door. 50/50 raffle and door raffle too. Tickets are available at the little league field concession stand or by calling Ann Marie at (860) 582-8872. Summer Camp hosted by the Diamond Kings
Monday, August 13th - Thursday, August 16th, 9:00AM - 12:30PM at the Little League complex. Open to all players age 7 - 12 (including graduating 12 year olds). $125 per participant. Sibling discounts available. Participants may register with the Diamond Kings at www.dkacademy.com. Click on "summer camps".
Every Diamond Kings Summer Camp program for players ages 7-12 focuses on:
- Proper Throwing technique
- Fielding fundamentals
- Hitting fundamentals and Batting checklist
- In flight hitting mechanics
- 6 step pitching delivery
- Proper Base Running
- Bunting, Stealing, and Sliding
- First step quickness
- Flexibility and Injury Prevention
- A better sense of Self Confidence
Proof of Residency Requirements
At any time during the season, parents/legal guardians for all players must present 3 proofs or residency dated prior to February 1, 2012 if requested by the league. Acceptable proofs of residency include such items as a driver's license, auto registration, bank statement, insurance bill, mortgage statement, or utility bill. Note that 3 utility bills will count as only one proof.

Little league is an ALL volunteer organization. We are always in need of parents/guardians willing to help our league. ** Important League Age Information **
The date to determine a players' age for baseball will be April 30th/May 1st. If a baseball player turns 13 after April 30th of the current year that player will be considered 12 for the current year. The date in all divisions of Little League Softball will be Dec. 31st of the previous year. If a softball player turned 12 during the previous calendar year, that player will be considered league age 12 for the current year. See baseball and softball age charts in the "handouts" section.
