Parents, Returning Varsity Players and Prospective Varsity Players: The Annual Field Clean-Up Day is set for Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 9:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m..
In order to make this day a success, here are a few items I am hoping people can bring to help out. - Power washer to clean the dugouts, bleachers, and cement spectator stands.- A couple Weed Eaters to clean up the spectator area.- Extra long extension cords for the power washer and Weed Eaters.- Rakes, shovels and work gloves.- We need about six bags of bark to spread around the outside of the fence near the backstop to prevent weeds from growing. I need to know if anybody is going to bring any of these items so we can be prepared (especially the power washer, Weed Eaters and bark).
Returning Varsity Mom’s (yes, you are invited too): You have the distinct honor of cleaning out the player’s clubhouse. Bring your favorite all-purpose cleaners, gloves, rags and paper towels. I will bring a vacuum cleaner. Your job is to clean and disinfect the lockers, refrigerator and clubhouse.
