JG OLS-A, SG OLV-A win tournament, upset top seeds
The top seeds in both divisions of the 2004 Toy Bowl Volleyball Tournament were upset in the finals as JG Our Lady of Sorrows A and SG Our Lady of the Valley A, both second seeds in their respective divisions, upset the top seeds, JG OLV-B and SG St. Francis Xavier A. It took three games in both divisions to decide the tournament champions and every game was a close one.

In the Junior Division, OLV-B and OLS-A played three exciting games, with OLS-A winning 20-25, 25-20, 6-15. Equally exciting were the Senior Divsion games, as OLV-A defeated SFX-A 25-16, 14-25, 15-8.

Following the conclusion of each division's match, regular season and tournament trophies were presented, with each team playing in the finals receiving a first and second place trophy: JG OLV-B received 1st Place in the regular season and 2nd Place in the tournament, while JG OLS-A took home 1st Place for the tournament and 2nd Place in the regular season. In the Senior Division, SG SFX-A captured the 1st Place regular season trophy and the 2nd Place tournament trophy, with SG OLV-A taking the 1st Place prize in the tournament and 2nd Place in the regular season.

Third Place regular season trophies were also awarded, to OLV-D in the Junior Division and OLS-C in the Senior Division.

SG SFX-A, JG OLV-B win regular season
Congratulations to St. Francis Xavier A on winning the 2004 Toy Bowl Volleyball regular season championship in the Senior Division and to Our Lady of the Valley B on winning the Junior Division championship. Both teams were undefeated in match play during the season with a record of 11-0.

Second Place honors in the Senior Division go to OLV-A (10-1) and to Our Lady of Sorrows A (10-1) in the Junior Division, while the Third Place finishers were OLS-C (9-2) in the Senior Division and OLV-D (9-2) in the Junior Division.

The winning teams will be awarded their trophies on Sunday, October 24, following each division's championship match in the post-season tournament.
