| LOOKING TO FILL FINAL SPOT ON OUR ROSTER! We are looking towards a great year in 2009. Our player fee for 2009 is lower then most teams. Our season starts slow as far as tournaments, due to school ball. We have perhaps one tournament prior to school ending and then start heavy in June and throughout the fall. We are looking for players that are committed and enjoy the game. Softball is a game and should be fun. The Riptide preliminary schedule has two away tournaments. Both tournaments will be in the New England/Pennsylvania area. All other tournaments are local, Long Island based. Our immediate defensive need is outfielders with speed. Many of our players play other sports such as soccer and volleyball. We encourage these other sports. Players are not penalized for their participation in these other activities.
