Congratulations to all the Torrington Softball Teams that participated in this weekend's Girl's Rule Tournament in Wallingford, CT. All teams played great and represented our Torrington Little League Softball program well.

REMINDERS:
TLL DAY IS SATURDAY JUNE 2nd at Colangelo Fields.
ALLSTAR GAMES FOR LEVELS AA, AAA and Majors baseball will be played, along with our annual Majors- HOMERUN DERBY!
TLL AND TLLS will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade. Please stay tuned for meeting times and details.
This year's parade theme is HONORING THE FAMILIES OF THOSE WHO SERVED.

ATTENTION TLL BASEBALL & SOFTBALL FAMILIES
The Torrington Titans are in desperate need of host families for the 2012 summer season. As a host familiy you get to experience up and coming college players try to make a career in baseball.
As a host family you will receive the following:
1. Season tickets to all home games for the entire family
2. T-shirts for all family members
3. The opportunity to have your child go to the Titans baseball clinic over the summer(This is being determined with the GM right now)
4. 2 Host Family Appreciation nights(June 16th and Aug 6th)
5. Year end family get together(TBD)

DON"T FORGET TO CHECK MAJORS AND AAA SCHEDULES FOR OUR WEEKEND NIGHT GAMES IN MAY AND JUNE AT WEST TORRINGTON FIELD. THESE 'IN TOWN MATCHUPS' ARE A GREAT WAY TO SPEND A FAMILY NIGHT RIGHT IN TOWN, AND ADMISSION IS FREE! ENJOY THE GAME - UNDER THE LIGHTS!

Torrington Little League would like to invite all TLL families, to make a $25 donation to honor/memorialize a loved one (mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, etc) or show a family's support of our program. Contributions will be used for proper playing equipment, field maintenance, and other needs to ensure the youth of Torrington can always participate in organized baseball. The family name or person honored/memorialized will proudly be displayed on the back of the dugouts at the Colangelo Sports Complex.
These signs will stay up throughout the Spring and Fall seasons.

Attention Parents & Managers
Field Maintenance at Colangelo Fields is done strictly on a volunteer basis.
Teams and parents should be preparing the fields before games, and raking
the infields after every game or practice. Rakes are kept in the dugout areas,
and string and field liners are kept in the storage boxes near the dugouts.
ALL GARBAGE MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE DUGOUT AREA
AFTER EVERY GAME OR PRACTICE. THIS WILL BE MONITORED!
