Winter Workouts

The Sports Dome in Winsted is offering winter workout sessions “Every Monday beginning January 16th” from 7:00- 8:30 for ages 9 to 12.  These sessions will be staffed by the dome personnel and some volunteer coaches from our league to work with the players and do a little scrimmaging near the end of each session.  The cost for each player will be determined each session as the dome is charging $140.00 for each week, there will be a sign in and charge will be determined depending on the number of people who attend each week. For further information contact Kim Deep 860-309-3781 or deep3615@yahoo.com

These workouts are a great way to get your children in shape for the upcoming assessments and season so they can have the opportunity to brush up on their skills. This program is not sponsored by or covered under the Torrington Little League Insurance. If an injury should occur, any expenses would be covered by your personal insurance only.

Walter Fisher will hold a monthly winter baseball clinic at Sports Domain for the kids age 6-9 (9yr olds who played AA last spring). Walt plans to keep everyone active and working to prepare for the spring.  There is a need for parent helpers so he can work the kids and scrimmage toward the end of each session.
The dates of the clinics are on Thursday evenings from 6 - 7:30 pm. January 12th, Feb 16th, and Mar 1st.
The cost for all 4 monthly clinics is $48/pp.  You must pay for all slots up front to ensure your slot. Please mail checks made out to Walter Fisher to ensure your space for all 4 sessions. If you are not able to send full payment at this time, please contact Walt Fisher to make payments at each session. This is a great opportunity for the kids to have some fun over the winter and stay engaged.

Attention Parents & Managers

Field Maintenance at Colangelo Fields is done strictly on a volunteer basis.
Teams and parents should be preparing the fields before games, and raking
the infields after every game or practice. Rakes are kept in the dugout areas,
and string and field liners are kept in the storage boxes near the dugouts.

ALL GARBAGE MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE DUGOUT AREA
AFTER EVERY GAME OR PRACTICE. THIS WILL BE MONITORED!
