Below I will recap some upcoming dates and provide you information about our upcoming Parents' Meeting (which you will not want to miss).

 

Feb. 1, 2010:  Have completed Athletic Packet turned in to Pam Brand.  (She can be found downstairs in the main building.)  If you don't turn this in, you will not be on the cleared list, and you will NOT be able to try out.  This packet must be completed by all players, even those who have already played a sport in the fall or winter.  And, for those who have not turned a physical in this year, it must include a physical.

 

Feb. 20, 2010:  Varsity tryouts from 6 am to 9 am; JV tryouts from 12 noon to 3 pm.  You may self select which team you tryout for.  The Coaches will decide which team to place you on.

 

Feb. 22, 2010:  First practice.

 

Feb. 23, 2010:  We will have a mandatory Parents' Meeting from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  This will be held in the AV room (which is the stand alone building between the basketball gym and the main building).  You will hear from the Coaches and get key details about our season.  You will also need to bring your check books!  The suggested team donation this year will be $425 per player.  (We have not increased this amount for 2 years and will hold it this year as well.  This covers our cost of operation as the school pays for basically nothing.)  And, for those that want Spirit Packs (sweat shirt, sweat pants, tshirt, and socks) there will be a charge of $100 per player.  Finally, Kathy Scott will have spirit wear for the parents (or kids) for sale (such as sweatshirts, hats, golf shirts, etc.).  She will collect money that night (and that night only) for this gear.  So, plan on being there.
