KICK 4 THE CURE WOMEN'S INDOOR TOURNAMENT
K4TCRibbon

Congratulations True Blues on winning the Kick 4 the Cure Indoor Women's Tournament at Scarborough Indoor Soccer Centre.

We did not start very well with the first game against Scarborough Utd Strikers losing 4-1, that woke us up.

In our second game we played against Revolution F.C. now we were starting to play we beat them 3-0.

In our third game against Leaside we were starting to turn on the style playing some excellent soccer,we beat them 5-0.

This put us into the semi- final against Stooleys on a wild card, now we were realy starting to play with some excellent attacking passing and possesion soccer winning 6-0.

Now we got to play the team that had beaten us in our first game of the day the Scarborough Utd Strikers,we saved the best for the last, we looked nothing like the team we were in our first game,we had learned to use the boards to our advantage, our goal scoring opportunities increased and our finishing improved,we won the final 4-1.

I want to thank all you ladies who put in so much effort in not only winning the tournament but also for contributing  $585 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society.

MVP for Toronto Rangers was Natalie "LEFTY" Brace

Nicola had three shutout games out of 5 games played.

Top Goalscorer was Janet Sury (5)

We scored 19 goals and allowed 5 against.

Goal scorers were Janet (5) Lefty (3) Rose (3) Joanna (3) Shannon (2) Oriana (2) Reisa (1)

I am proud of all of you thanks for a great day.

Jim.
