Toronto Colts U21 AAA: Welcome

Welcome to home page for the Toronto Colts U21 AAA hockey team

The 2012/13 season marks the start of our 6th season in the U21 loop. As with all seasons there is a great deal of anticipation of a new team. Tryout were very strong this year, we are hoping that our format change to a Jr. A style of tryout has brought a new level of interest. There is no doubt that attendance at tryouts was up significantly over previous seasons. Last year we took our team south of the border to Mercyhurst University  to participate in a showcase tournament. We had good success there and as such we intend to expand our program to include at least two trips south with the possibilty of a third if our schedule permits.

More and more we are seeing that the younger player's that are coming to U21 hockey continue to ask for player development and a higher level of competition. We are committed to helping them grow as players and young adults.

Our philosophy is to offer the players a place to keep playing competetive hockey while they are attending College, University. For the players who are in that last year or two of high school we want their experience to be the same yet also expose them to the options that playing a higher level of hockey can provide. Be that University/College scholarship's or a faster more competetive brand of hockey. We are running a highly competetive team, but always mindful of the outside demands placed on these young men from school to work to... 

As a smaller organization in the GTHL we are proud of the accomplishments we have made along the way and excited for the continued growth of our U21 program. This program started as a result of an acceptionally strong 3 year Midget campaign.

As a Head Coach for the Toronto Colts Bruce Sturley has stayed with the organization for  the past 13 years and looks forward to the continued growth of this proud organization.

The U21 program is built on the belief that winning is a habit, so please keep an eye on us, visit our site often and watch as the winning becomes contageous!
