Coach Joe Charles and Coach Jibri Hodge
Both coaches specialize in training athletes in any sport that requires speed, agility, endurance and explosion. Our goal is to have our athletes in top physical shape prior to the start of their specific season. We service a wide array of coed athletes, ages ranging from elementary school through college.

About Coach Charles’ Accomplishments:
High School
- A former L.A. Times San Fernando Valley section Running Back of the Year,
- All Santa Clarita Valley MVP
- Golden League MVP
- All – CIF Running Back
College:
- ‘All Western State Conference Running Back’ at College of the Canyons in Canyon Country, CA.
- Received athletic scholarship to the University of Montana.
After College:
- Signed as a Free Agent with the Dallas Cowboys (1984)
- Ottawa Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (1986)
- San Francisco 49ers (1987-1988)
- Finland in the European Football League (1990).
Coaching
Coach Charles has coached players of many sports for the last 14 years.
- Saugus High School – Saugus, CA (1993-1995, 2001-2002)
- LA Valley College – Van Nuys, CA (1995-1998)
- College of the Canyons – Canyon Country, CA (1999-2000)
- Glendale Community College – Glendale, CA (2002-2008)
Two, of his many coaching accomplishments, are:
- Saugus High School (1993-1995) coaching all time leading rusher, all league, all CIF, Chris Johnson
- All time leading rusher first team western state conference and all state running back Marcus Harvey. (LA Valley College)
During his 14 years of coaching, Coach Charles has produced 9 – 1000 yard rushers and numerous Punt and Kick off Returners. During his 6 years of coaching at Glendale Community College Coach Charles was named ‘Western State Conference Running Back Coach of the Year’

Coach Hodge started playing football at the tender age of six with the North Valley Golden Bears. At the age of 13 his family moved to Saugus, CA and he played all four years at Saugus High School as a Wide Receiver / Defensive Back. Coach Hodge’s High School Accomplishments:
- Junior year
- Offense
- Registered 33 catches for 350 yards
- 4 Touchdowns on offense.
- Defensive
- Led the team with 4 interceptions.
- Senior year
- Offense
- led the team with 47 receptions
- 2nd with 745 yards received
- 11 touchdowns.
- Defense
- 2nd with 76 tackles
- Tied for 1st with 5 interceptions.
Coach Hodge’s College Accomplishments:
- L.A. Pierce College
- Freshman year
- Caught 36 balls for a total of 425 yards
- 3 touchdowns
- Sophomore Year
- Caught 46 balls for 650 yards
- 6 touchdowns.
- Due to a broken collar bone, he was limited to playing only 5 games that year.
Coach Hodge’s final two games at L.A. Pierce College (24 catches for 442 yards and 4 touchdowns) were so strong that he was able to earn a scholarship to the University of Oregon. At the University of Oregon, as a junior, Coach Hodge had 12 catches for 160 yards, and as a senior he had 25 catches for 427 yards as well as a touchdown. Coach Hodge was coached by some of the best while at the University of Oregon:

- Al Borges (Auburn Offensive Coordinator)
- Dirk Koetter (Jacksonville Jaguars Offensive Coordinator)
- Chris Peterson (Head Coach of Boise State)
Coach Hodge’s Coaching Experience:
- Coach Hodge’s coaching experience started at the University of Oregon where he coached their annual football camp for two years. (1997 - 1998)
- Receiver’s Coach at Willamette High School and served as an assistant coach to the offensive coordinator. (Fall of 1998)
- Coached the Wide Recievers at L.A. Pierce College for two years. (1999 - 2000)
Coach Hodge is currently a high school counselor and Wide Receiver coach at Canyon High School.
