Steve Nash Returns Yet Again
In what has become an annual tradition, Steve Nash of the Dallas Mavericks came to Toronto again to visit his NK TG’s teammates. Nash was in town with the Dallas Mavericks who were scheduled to play the Toronto Raptors that evening. Injury kept Nash out of the game with the Raptors but it did not prevent him from heading out after the game and enjoying a few drinks with his teammates.
Nash’s longtime friend Milan Uzelac was once again the orchestrater of the evening and has to be thanked for making it all happen. He was joined by his girlfriend Visnja, her brother Peter, TG teammates Milenko Cepo, Ivan Radoš, Hamilton Croatia President Mark Vuksan and his secret service agent Edi Rejc. The entourage decided to invade the Lobby which is an upscale lounge in the heart of Toronto. There they shared a few drinks and reminisced about old times. Booze was being ordered by the bottle and in typical TG fashion, there were a few rounds of brandies. Overall it was an incredible evening.
Nash also commented on his desire to finally suit up for NK Tomislavgrad. He was particularly impressed by the current state of the team and adds that he hopes to make it to a few games in the new year. He also becomes a free agent this summer and is considering playing for the Toronto Raptors.
“The Raptors and Toronto have much to offer. I’m particularly excited about the fact that as a Raptor, I can fulfill one of my desires to play both basketball and soccer with NK TG.”
So will we finally get to see Nash in action for NK TG? Only time will tell.
