Tom Ash: Welcome

The 2014 Baseball / Softball Season has BEGUN!

We are very excited about the upcoming season and we would like to thank everyone who has helped TOM ASH LITTLE LEAGUE in preparing for the season. Teams are currently being assigned and players will receive a call from their coaches by Mid April. If you have not heard from your childs coach by April 12th please contact Jon, Dennis or Wendy.

Please be sure check the website regularly for updates and contact the web administrator if you would like to be added to our email list. Also, LIKE us on FACEBOOK! (TOM ASH)

Buy Tom Ash Little League Clothing and Apparel

GREAT NEWS!!! A percentage of all sales in our Apparel Store front will be donated to Tom Ash Little League. Players can order apparel and accessories to match their team uniforms!! (Sizes and options vary per item.)

Scheduled for April 12th from 9am until 3pm. Please join us at Mulcahy Field to help prepare the baseball fields and field house/concession stand for the upcoming season. Please bring work gloves, rakes, shovels, brooms, and yard tools with you. We will have a few available but not many. This year Working for Worcester will be volunteering with us and The Worcester Regional Environmental Council will also be volunteering with us since April 12th is EARTH DAY!

We will have coffee and donuts in the morning and pizza and drinks towards the afternoon for all the volunteers.

**(We ask that younger children be supervised by an adult with trash collection and raking.)**

Picture day will be held on April 26th. Each team will receive a scheduled time from their coaches later in April. Players are asked to wear their entire uniform and arrive on time to avoid any players missing the photo session.

Join Tom Ash Little League on MAY 3, 2014 as we Celebrate the 2014 season.

We will begin the day by gathering at Rice Square School for 8:30am for our Annual Parade. The parade will begin at 9:00am. Teams will line up and we will march to the Little League field at Tom Ash. Players will be seated with their teams on the field where we will hold Opening Day Announcements. Several guests of honor will speak to the players and families.

After the opening day ceremonies we will have a variety of events for the players and families to enjoy. Food and raffles will be available for purchase. Events will be held throughout the park until the start of the baseball and softball games. Game schedules will be available later in April.

We are still looking for volunteers to help with the upcoming events, concession stand, field maintenance, and much more! If you have not filled out a CORI form you can print one from the "Handouts" page here on our website and you can also ask for one at the Field House.

Letter from District 4 Administrator Linda McGill:

Hi Everyone, Just want to get out there-the district does have a Big League Baseball Program for those ages 16-18. If you could get the word out there for me that would be great. This is for those boys who are not interested in Senior Babe Ruth but still want to play baseball. We have teams in Rutland, Holden, Paxton, 1 team from North End of the city (Burncoat St. area) South Side (Ty Cobb area) any of the the other towns who would like to join us but only have 1 or 2 players we can hook them up with the closest team to them. If anyone wants further information please contact me: Linda McGill or Tammy Griffin-Kumpey . Thank you for helping to spread the word. Regards, Linda
