Tolleson High School: History

2002 FALL SEASON COMPLETE
Christmas brings an end to another fall baseball season. Numbers went from 45 athletes to 25 at the end of the fall. Overall the fall season was, once again, a great tool for giving our athletes the extra time needed to improve their level of play. As far as games went the "A" team ended up 15-8 while the "B" team was 7-5. The team spent a great amount of time and effort in the Tolleson Weight Room since late August, and we can all see and feel the benifits of that.

Winter Ball to begin on January 13th.
After a very successful fall schedule the Wolverine baseball program will enjoy a much needed Christmas Holiday. The Wolverines will be back at the yard on Jan 13th for Preseason Winter workouts, which will continue until Feb 10th when tryouts will begin. The first cuts will be on Feb 14th. The coaching staff strongly recommends the participation of all interested in playing in the spring to participate in preseason winter ball! This will enable those individuals to take advantage of being evaluated for a longer period of time before the first cuts.
