As the school year starts again, so does the committment of excellence towards the Wolvedrine Baseball program. On August 12th prospective members of the Woverine Baseball team will meet in room 2313 at 3:15 to discuss preparations for the upcoming season. The Wolverine Baseball Conditionin program is open for any student planning on playing baseball for TUHS in the spring, that is not involved in a fall sport here at TUHS. The team will condition in the weight room and on the track 4 days a week from 3:20 to 5:30 on M-TH. We will focus on strength, agility, speed, power, and flexibility. The program was designed by Coach Filipe Manduraga, former TUHS player and coach and former strength and conditioning coach for the Milwalkee Brewers farm system. The winter season will begin the week after the fall break in October. Any question see coach Richardson.

Tuesday, August 17
The TUHSD has approved and started construction on a brand new sports complex that will serve the baseball and softball programs. The school will also get upgraded practice facilities for both football and soccer.
A total demolition and renovation is occuring, which includes new block dugouts for both baseball and softball, new lights for the varsity fields, astro turf batting cages, bull-pens, spectator areas, snack bar and restroom renovations. Brand new field surfaces are being installed which will make the sports complex state of the art and as nice as any spring facility in the county.
Completion will be in time for the spring season. Stay posted for pictures.
