Welcome to the home of the 2 TIME defending Ohio State Champion and 2 TIME USA Hockey Natinals Quarterfinalist Toledo Cherokee Midget Minor Hockey Club. Our team is proud to represent the Greater Toledo Amatuer Hockey Association and we practice out of the Team Toledo Ice House. We are members of the Yzerman Divison of the LCAHL and travel throughout North America in search of the best competition for our players. Here is the tournament schedule for the Last Dance Tournament - May 17-19, 2013. This will be the last opportunity for players to be evaluated in game play for the Fall Season U-16 team prior to our one tryout skate. We encourage all players to attend this tournament.

The U16 Toledo Cherokee will be fielding two teams this spring. Plans are for each team to enter the same tournaments starting with the Spring Rumble on April 26-28 in Toledo. Below are the rosters for each team. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Coach Koester at (419) 467-9973.

The Toledo Cherokee ran into a familiar LCAHL - Yzerman Division opponent in the Quarterfinals at the USA Hockey National Championship and get bumped. We played hard but just couldn't get anything going against a very talented SCS Saints team. This is the second year in a row that the u16 Toledo Cherokee have made the play-down bracket at Nationals and will only motivate the returning players to work hard in the off-season in hopes of returning to Nationals again next year. Good luck to our group of talented 96's as they move on to Juniors: Cam Clarke, Zach Bilius, Brenden Campbell and Kirby Simeon.
Monday, April 8
The Toledo Cherokee u16 team won the Ohio State Championship over the weekend in Columbus and are heading to the USA Hockey 16u Tier II National Championship Tournament in Troy, MI. Back to Back State Championships is a tough feat to accomplish but this year's team seemed to have the deck stacked against them and they still came out on top. We are proud of the boys and wish them good luck at Nationals

The Toledo Cherokee u16 team won the International Silver Stick Mid-Am Regional Championship and are one of the 16 regional champions from throughout North America headed to the International Silver Stick Finals in Newmarket, ON in Januaray. The Cherokee dominated the weekend field, winning the Championship game over the Cincinnati Cyclones 6-0 on Sunday evening. Congrats boys and good luck in Ontario.
