2009 Rosters
Thank you for your interest in Hoop Nation and our '09 season. We had a great turnout again this year with well over 150 kids. Unfortunately, we can not take all the players. Many of these kids are very young and players mature at different rates. For those players who did not make the 09 rosters continue to work hard on your skills for things change dramatically from year to year. Coaches will contact each team individually regarding the practice and tournament schedule.

Hoop Nation Mission
Our Club
Hoop Nation is an AAU non-profit organization dedicated to teaching boys the fundamentals necessary to be successful in the game of basketball and life. The club strives to instill the following positive characteristics in our players: passion, dedication, teamwork, leadership, maturity, resilience and creativity. Every principle reflects the values of the game and the building blocks to being a success on and off the court. We stress a team motto that the whole is greater than the individual parts. Our team goals are simple:

Our Court
Hoop Nation will focus on players primarily from the Capital District, Saratoga and Glens Falls areas of New York State. Practices and home games will be held in Saratoga and Clifton Park. We will play a total of five tournaments during the spring of 2009 including three travel tourneys and two local tourneys.
Our Game Plan
We are dedicated to building this program into one of the premier youth basketball organizations in the Capital Region. This spring we plan on developing teams in seven different age groups (10U through 16U). We plan to prepare our players for competition in events locally, regionally and nationally. Our coaches will focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game to develop and equip players with the skills necessary to be successful at the high school level and beyond. A solid and dependable organization, a top notch learning experience provided by qualified coaches and successful results on the court will be our signature traits.
