Hey girls, I know some lucky ones of you are going to Hawaii over the holidays and I wish you all the best of playing ball and getting a few good looks from College scouts.
I want to get you all who are interested in playing ball at the college level to look at a web site at impactprospects.com. Whitney was nominated by her high school coach and she attended the Blue-Gray Classic Battle of the States in Kissimmee, FL this past weekend near Orlando.
This was a great tournament and plenty of college scouts there in Div 1 like Miami, Florida, FSU, Ohio State, among the some we saw.
We played 4 eight inning games over two days with 2 more eight inning games where the top 4 seeds played off to a championship game in which Whitney's "Team Orlando" won the championship over "Team Mid-Atlantic" believe it or not 17-13 was the score. A very offensive tournament.
Long story short, talk to your high school coach to see about nominating you. We had over 70 girls this year and this is growing. Whitney will be going back next year.
Hey, Disney World is practically next door too. Even though its during the school year I'm sure it can be treated as an excused absence as we did for a college recruitment camp. |
