Welcome to the TN District 5 Umpire Association web page, whose goal is to provide quality umpires and umpiring services to the local leagues, improve umpiring through education & training, promote fair play and good sportsmanship among people in baseball & softball and provide educational training for coaches to ensure a thorough understanding of the rules specific to Little League Baseball & Softball.

The dates and locations are now set for the 2012 Blue for Pink fundraiser for the Susan B Coleman Foundation. The is a worthy cause and everyones help is needed. Please contact Mark Ripley if you are willing to call any of the dates.

We just recieved news that Bryan Horne has been awarded the Little League Baseball Regional in Warner Robins Ga. When Bryan returned home after a coaches clinic in Johnsoin City, he checked his mail and recieved the good news.

Congratulations goes out to the first D5UA member in 2012 to recieve notification that they had been assigned to a regional. Mark Ripley was notified that he has been assigned the Big League SoftBall Regional in St. Petersburg, Florida this year. Mark was asked to come up in front of the clinic attendees in Warner Robins tonight and handed his letter and asked to open it in which was the good news. Mark's son TZ was also on hand to witness the exciting event along with several other D5UA members who are attending the SR Ump Clinic this weekend in Warner Robins, Georgia.
It was very exciting yo see Mark open his letter.
Congratulations Mark and I know that you will represent TND5 and D5UA well.
