SNHYSL and GSYSL ANNOUNCEMENT
SNHYSL and GSYSL Announcement
NHSYSL and GSYSL are excited to announce that both leagues have reached an "agreement in principle" to work as one league. Both leagues feel that this is an important step for soccer in New Hampshire. With the leagues working as a single unit we will be better able to serve our member clubs and provide uniformity.
Starting with the spring 2013 season all club/team registrations will be handled through the GSYSL website. This will allow the mainstreaming of information for those location mangers with teams playing in both league and the streamlining of referee assignments.
It is our desire to provide the EDP, and division 2, division 3 players with regional play as much as possible.
- The division 1 teams will have greater traveling as to insure they will have better competition (if there are enough teams these too will be regionalized).
- Division 2 and Division 3 teams will be divided as regionally as possible with groupings under the Granite Divisions and Seacoast Divisions (these are regionally divided based on overall registrations).
- Coach's who wish to seek alternative competition can petition to play in either division as long as the divisions are properly weighted.
Together we will also be working on the EDP program, Angela Nieland; President of NHSYSL has assumed a new position in the league as Director of EDP. Angela will be working with the VP EDP to implement what we hope to be a better stronger program for our younger players.
Angela Nieland President NHSYSL
