Saturday, December 27 Tiger Baseball Club, Incorporated Mission Statement: The mission of the Tiger Baseball Club is to support the development of baseball at Holy Family High School and to be competitive at all levels of play. Our club teaches sportsmanship, character, integrity and the fundamentals of baseball in an enjoyable environment for the players. Members will strive to promote better citizenship among its players and develop more physically fit, mentally alert, and morally fine youth at Holy Family High School. About the Club and its Members: The Tiger Baseball Club was formed during the fall of 2003 and was incorporated in Colorado on October 22, 2003. The club is made up of men and woman that cherish the game of baseball and have a desire to provide an enjoyable experience for the players in the program. Most of our members are players, and parents of current and past players at Holy Family High School. However, anyone (except coaches that receive financial compensation) interested in providing a positive experience for the players is encouraged to join. The cost of membership in the Club is $1.00 per year. The club is 501(c)(3) nonprofit Colorado corporation (The application for tax exemption has been filed with the IRS and is pending). Consequently, all donations to the club are tax deductible. The club is run by Officers and a Board of Directors. As a practical matter the officers may serve in a dual capacity of Officer and Director. The Officers and Directors are elected at the annual meeting during the month of September of each year. The elective officers/board members of the Corporation consist of the President, Executive Vice President, Vice President-Player Development, Vice President-Equipment Coordinator, Secretary and Treasurer. Officers are elected by a majority vote of the Board of Directors. All board members serve a one (1) year term. Our members work very closely with the Holy Family High School baseball coaches throughout the year. While we support the High School Season (Spring Baseball) our emphasis is on the Summer Season or Colorado American Legion Baseball. This is done by fund raising and running and coordinating clinics. The cost of providing the summer program and clinics is covered through donations and player fees. Our club members meet once per month at various locations. Meeting announcements are posted on this web site.
