Depending on the participation of each of the leagues in District 9, information regarding local tournaments and the State Tournament hosted in district 9 is posted to the District website, along with links to State, Regional, and International Websites so you can follow tournaments through Championship Games even at World Series! In Little League, "League Ages" are determined based on dates established the International/National Youth Baseball & Softball Committees ...
for Co-ed Tee-Ball and Baseball ..
The players' age is determined by their age on April 30th of the current year
for Girls' Fastpitch Softball ...
The players' age is determined by their age on December 31 of the prior year.
Contact your local league to see if they are providing or involved in a "Training and Development" focused program where youth can still 'play ball' while developing skills specific to the games of Baseball and/or Softball!
Little League's Challenger Division - for boys and girls ages 5 through 21 - is an adaptive baseball program for children with mental and/or physical disabilities. For more information on the Challenger Division, view our "Challenger Division" link or click here to contact District Staff. As in Baseball, "League Age" for boys and girls in this Division is based on the players age on April 30th of the current year. |
