T-Town Basketball Goals:
For each young lady...
1) To know and understand the Thurston Girls Basketball system and culture prior to entering high school.
2) to form a strong foundation in the fundamentals of basketball
3) to move through a pyramid teaching system that builds one layer upon the other
4) to prepare and instill confidence that will be carried with them into high school.
5) to feel they are a part of a united group and become acquainted with their future Thurston teammates both on and off the court.
6) to be given the opportunity to learn and improve their basketball skills
Our goal is to include as many girls as possible in the basketball program. In grades 8th through 6th we will not make any cuts. This is not a "selects" program but an "all-included" program. Our goal is to find a position and a team where each girl can be successful.
