BABE RUTH APPROVED BATS FOR 2012
**CLARIFICATION**
We have received questions from many of you concerning approved bats for Babe Ruth League play this season. Please go to the handouts section to see the memo distributed by Babe Ruth League Inc, to see the definition/description of approved bats. There is a difference between 13-15 year olds and 16-18 year olds. 16-18 MUST be BBCOR .50 -3 rated with the barrel not exceeding 2 5/8 while for 13-15 year olds, the barrel can not exceed 2 5/8, but does NOT have to meet the criteria of a -3 rating. Most bats used in Little League meet the regulations, if you have any questions please contact Dave Laramore or Jim Stein before making your purchase.

Thurmont Little Leagues Board of Directors has begun a monthly publication of a newsletter to be shared with all of you regarding information for the upcoming baseball season.
