Thunder Pride Cheer and Dance Club Rules and Regulations
1. Each cheer and dance squad is to be placed under the direction of a director. This person will serve as the coach or sponsor of the squad.
2. Each cheerleader sponsor or coach must be in attendance and must actively direct all cheer and dance functions, practices, and performances. In the event of any absence, a substitute must be present.
3. Any unexcused absence of a cheer or dance member will result in a punishment by running laps. 2 unexcused absences will result in NON-PARTICIPATION on GAME DAY! Still you are expected to be there regardless!!
4. Please notify Theola, or Johnny immediately if you are going to be late or absent.
5. Being late will result in EXTRA LAPS AND WARM-UPS!!!!
6. Parents of Cheer and Dance members will be required to sign a waiver.
7. Aerobic warm-up stretching exercises, under the direction of the Sponsor, should precede all practices and performances.
8. Any tumbling, aerobatic, and/or gymnastic type cheers will follow strict guidelines.
9. BAD OR NEGITIVE ATTITUDES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!!!
10. ANY conflicts, concerns, or issues need to be brought to Theola, or Johnny IMMEDIATELY!
11. DO NOT CRITICIZE ANYONE!! (WE ARE ALL CONSIDERED AS ONE!!!)
12 Talking back to any leader will results in laps or pushups.
13. If you quit the team in the middle of the football season, you will be responsible for the (FULL PAYMENT) of your cheer gear or the difference on what's owed!
14. ALL out-of-town travel will be in Vans or Busses. Vehicles will be approved by the Owner.
15. AND LAST....BUT NOT LEAST....HAVE FUN!!!!! This will show the community how much pride you have in your team. When you are at an away game, do NOT yell back at ANY hecklers! you are a representative of the San Diego Thunder and the Community of San Diego. SHOW THEM THAT YOU ARE A "CLASS ACT!"
