The Arizona Thunderhawks Fast Pitch Girls Softball Organization requests your financial assistance and support for the 2007-08 season. The Arizona Thunderhawks (10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U) is an amateur athletic organization recognized as a qualified tax-exempt charity under IRS code section 501(c)(3). The team was incorporated August 31, 2003. Volunteer coaches at each age level provide coaching for pitching, batting, fielding and other skills relative to softball for girls in the community. Coaches volunteer approximately 500 hours each year, not including travel time and tournaments. All equipment is owned by the coaches and is donated to the teams for their use. Individual players provide gloves and bats. None of the coaches, volunteers or board of directors receive a salary, bonus, discount or compensation of any kind. Every effort is made to assist those girls in the community, who would otherwise not be able to play. This includes paying team dues, tournament fees and providing a uniform within the guideline of NCAA rules and does not jeopardize their college eligibility. The team is funded by parent donations, sponsors, car washes, candy sales, rebates from local businesses and restaurants as arranged through parent volunteers. The donation covers a twelve-month sponsorship. The 2007-2008 season begins September 1, 2007 and ends August 30, 2008. Our tax-exempt ID number will be provided for your records upon receipt of your donation. Your company will be recognized in the following manner for your support:
- Single ($250.00) - Recognized as a supporting sponsor on our team website (http://www.azthunderhawks.org).
- Double ($500.00) – The above plus … your company name will be added to our sponsor banner and displayed next to the team banner at tournaments throughout Arizona and the West.
- Triple ($750.00) - All of the above plus … given a plaque of appreciation for display at your place of business to recognize your support as a sponsor.
- Home Run ($1,000.00) - All of the above plus … identified as a “Title Sponsor” on banner and website with special typeface font and prominent placement.
