2009 Showcase of the South - Little Rock, Arkansas

Thunder Greece showed well in the 2009 Showcase of the South held in Little Rock, Arkansas, January 31-February 1, 2009,  with three extremely competitive matches.  The weather and fields were gorgeous, the boys played hard, and the parents and boys had great fun.  It just doesn't get any better than that!  For event photographs and video, please click links on home page of our team website (videos - Tom Gilbert; photographs - Mary Diacon).

Congratulations, Thunder Greece - Sam Shannon Showcase Success!
Thunder Greece finished the 2008 Sam Shannon Showcase with a 2-1-0 record.  Greece was narrowly defeated in its loss to Celtic 92 (0-1) and had the distinction of having the second lowest goals allowed (1 GA) in the U17 age bracket.  Great job, guys!  Click on link for standings.
