The History of the name "Meanstreets"
We started as Thundercats Allstars. Our colors were gold, black, and white. We had a pretty simple uniform. We had girls 1st grade through 12th grade. The next year most our girls graduated. Then we changed our colors to gray, green, and blue. We cheered in the juniors division 9th grade and under. Then the next year we only had one 8th grader and everyone else was 6th grade and under. We let the 8th grader coach and do individuals and everyone else cheered in the 6th grade and under division which was the youth division back then. The next year we changed colors again to red, white, and blue. We switched divisions again and went back to the juniors division. We added a pee-wee team. Then we decided to change our name. We became MEANSTREETS THUNDERCATS ALLSTARS. We dropped the pee-wee team. Then the next year we dropped the Thundercats name and left the MEANSTREETS name. Then we changed our colors once again to pink and black. We are still in the juniors division but we may be adding a pee-wee team again.
