Congratulations Tulsa Flames Midget U18 and Squirt U10 Travel Teams!
Congratulations to the Tulsa Flames Midget U18 and Squirt U10 travel teams on their 2011-2012 NTXHL Division Championship!!! Both teams earned a bye through quarterfinals, came out of semi-finals as first place seeds, and went undefeated sweeping the championship round in two games in a best of three series. The road to the finals and clinching the championship was not easy for either team this year. The teams were without a sheet of ice in Tulsa to practice on for the first half of their season which forced the teams to travel to Oklahoma City for limited practice time. Against all odds, both teams proved that with hard work, dedication and commitment, anything is possible! Congratulations to the players, coaches, and parents on a great season and making Tulsa very proud of your amazing accomplishment!
Both teams will be recognized prior to the High School Varsity Championship game on Wednesday, March 14th at 7:00pm. Be sure to come out and see the awesome hardware they brought home!!!
