LIONS ROCK PATRIOTS!
It was another fun evening of volleyball and very SIX-CESSFUL too, as our MIGHTY TALLWOOD LIONS captured the BEACH DISTRICT TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP! OUR SIX played with one heart, one goal, one purpose!!! THANK YOU to floor general REMO CACATIAN for masterfully setting an outstanding array of hitters. JOSH WALKER confirmed the honor that Beach coaches bestowed on him with MVP hits, passes, and serves. CARLOS McCORMACK went NUCLEAR again and POUNDED the PATRIOTS time after time. Steve BEANIE Hammonds & his wicked serve frustrated the opponent and both CHRIS MENDOZA & JOEY McELHANNON had all-around GREAT GAMES!!! Our 22nd straight victory looked even better on the HIGHLIGHT TAPE! SO PLAY ON, MIGHTY LIONS, PLAY ON!!!Scores: 26-24, 25-27, 25-16, 25-13
