THANK YOU so much guys for the wonderful COOL CAT ornament (now hanging on our LIONS & ANGELS tree), and for the gift certificate to Barnes & Noble. The books I ordered are here, and I'm anxious to read them! One is about Jamestown, and the other is about Missoula, Montana. GOD BLESS our 2003 LIONS as you graduate in 2004, or come back for another fantastic year as a MIGHTY TALLWOOD LION TEAM! In the meantime, stop by for a cup of cocoa and a carol or two around the piano during Christmas break. You are always welcome here! Love you all, LionMOM & LionDAD

TALLWOOD LIONS VOLLEYBALL

SO PROUD OF OUR MIGHTY LIONS TONIGHT!!! When we began our 70-match Beach winning streak in September, 1999, we couldn't have imagined we would get this far. The most exciting of the 70 contests over the last five years has to be the 1999 victory against Kempsville. They had match point on us, but our LIONS believed victory was possible, and with the help of a guy named Ty, we did it! That set up the Beach repeat, and you know the rest of the story!!! In case you are wondering about the 70 wins, here's the breakdown:
10 LION victories vs Salem
9 LION victories vs Ocean Lakes
8 LION victories vs Cox
7 LION victories vs Bayside
7 LION victories vs Kempsville
6 LION victories vs Green Run
6 LION victories vs Kellam
6 LION victories vs First Colonial
6 LION victories vs Princess Anne
5 LION victories vs Landstown
Of course, we have double-digit winning streaks against many of these teams because of victories in 1998 and early 1999 under Coach Hubner. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE MEN IN THE ARENA and TO THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GIRL WHO MOVED EAST TO TEACH AND COACH AT A PLACE CALLED TALLWOOD!

Hi guys,
I am looking for an opinion or two on the relative strength of the teams in your region. I am trying to pass some info on to the organizers of the Showcase. You can either email me or Skip Weston at rvc.net. Thanks again and good luck with your camp next week.
