Will be using four fields at three locations, concessions available

Tackle Football Divisions:

(6U) 5-6 Limited weight up to 100 lbs w/o gear

(8U) 7-8 Limited weight up to 110 lbs w/o gear

(10U) 9-10 Unlimited Weight

(12U) 11-12 Unlimited Weight

(Age as of September 1, 2009)

VHSL rules, 2 Games Guaranteed, Winners back for games on Sunday (except for 6U and 8U)

·        4—8 minute quarters for 6U,8U & 10 U,

·        4—10 minute quarters for 12 U, running clock,

Schedule will be provided week of November 16. All participants will receive a medal,

team trophies for 1—3 rd in each age division.

Tournament Fee: $350 (multiple team discounts available) Teams

THOMAS JEFFERSON YOUTH FOOTBALL IS OPEN TO ALL CHILDREN THAT MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENTS. THERE ARE NO WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS, AND WE DO NOT RECRUIT. EVERY CHILD HAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY.

What makes TJYFL Different from other football programs?

We are truly a kids first football league. Our registrations are open to all. We do not allow coaches to register the players for the teams. Any child, with any skill level, can play for TJYFL. Our goal is not to win a national championship, but to implant in each child the idea that they can accomplish anything with the proper attitude and hard work. We want our kids to know, regardless of what life has to offer, that there will always be someone there for them. We believe our members are our program. We want to hear your input and suggestions. We are not a handful of individuals dictating what you will get. Instead, all of us are the policy makers for our program. When you speak, we will listen. You may not always get what you want, but you should know that your input has been heard.
