We are sorry we didn't get make up games for most of the age groups done with all of the rain. The more we push back our games because of rain, it runs into our High School Ball league. Many families plan their vacations around softball too and this becomes an issue. So, we hope you enjoyed your season with us and we hope to see you back in the Fall! If you have any questions or comments, please let us know.

As of September 1st, the THMSA ballparks became SMOKE FREE?! Our board members all voted to make our park a better place by becoming smoke free. If you are a smoker, you are allowed to smoke in designated areas only. Outside the outfield fencing on all diamonds is one of those places. We are taking part and respecting non-smokers and watching out for our softball players health!!! If you are caught smoking within the THMSA ballparks, you will be asked to move to one of the designated areas. Thanks for your cooperation in this matter!!!!!

Parents communicate responsibilities to their players, but parents also have responsibilities. The THMSA Board would like to take this opportunity to list some of the primary responsibilities of parents:
1. Keep a cool head at games; no screaming at coaches or umpires - they are all doing their best.
2. Provide POSITIVE encouragement and feedback to players; NEVER screaming at players on the field or in the dugout.
3. Help keep the ballpark clean; pick up your trash and put in containers.
4. Make sure your daughter gets to practice and games on time.
5. Notify your coach ahead of time if your daughter will miss a practice or game.
6. Let the girls make mistakes - it is how they learn.
7. Provide the appropriate example of behavior and good sportsmanship.

On April 23rd, 2008 the THMSA Diamond and ballpark was vandalized. This is not the first time this has happened. We love our ballpark and are taking steps to make it better for everyone involved with our park. We are offering a REWARD to any information that leads to an arrest of any person(s) involved in this!!!!!!!!

Jamboree is just weeks away and we would love to have some help!! If you are interested in helping with the Jamboree or you're a local business and would be willing to help us out, please contact the Web Administrator.

One word, WOW! If you haven't been by to see the improvements to the ball park here is an update. All 4 diamonds now have 6 foot fencing along the foul lines and in the outfields. The old back stops are gone on diamonds 3 & 4 and new back stop poles are in the ground awaiting fencing. The old wooden dugouts on diamonds 3 &4 are also gone and new concrete pads have been poured. And when the weather breaks, the concrete blocks are here and new dugouts will start going up.
Amazing work is being done at THMSA and your help is needed. If you can help in any way, financially or by donating your time and skill, please speak Brad, Jeff, Mike or Bob Price.
