Dana Jensen - Underwood High School

5’9” Outside Hitter

Dana has been a THIRD DEGREE fixture since she was little!!!! She started playing for Mark and Lori when she was in second grade! She traveled to Colorado Crossroads in 1999 with the 17’s Regional Championship team. This past season Dana has led our 18’s team in Receptions and Kills. She is a leader on the court and has become a very knowledgeable & “court smart” player. After graduating from Underwood High School Dana will continue playing volleyball at Southwestern Community College.

Coach Neill on Dana: “Dana is a very physical player. She brings strength and reliability to the outside hitter position that is essential to our team’s success. She is also a primary passer in our two person receive pattern. I have enjoyed Dana over the years and look forward to seeing her play at the collegiate level”.

McKenzie Hildreth - Underwood High School

5’8” OH

“Mac” joined the 18’s team at the conclusion of the THIRD DEGREES 15's (TEAL) team season where she served as their coach! A strong outside hitter and tough server Mac has also brought consistency to the back row and plays a tough “D”

Alison Veak - Essex High School

5’8” Outside Hitter

When Alison showed up to try out at our first practice this season coach Neill was pleasantly surprised. We were looking for an opposite for Dana and Alison has proved to be a perfect true opposite. She mirrors Dana in almost every statistical category. At one point a few weeks ago they actually were tied with the same number of dig saves! The similarities between the two has created a balanced outside threat in all rotations.         

“Alison gets on top of the ball and drives it hard." She leads the team in Ace Serves and is tied with Dana in Receptions and Dig Saves.

Sara Wiggins - Underwood High School

5’9” Setter

Sara is the calming force on the team. As the setter, she directs the offense and distributes the ball to a balanced attack. She leads the team in Hitting Percentage as well as Hitting Efficiency. She has worked very hard this season and is a key contributor to the success of the team.

Sara has worked incredibly hard this season to familiarize herself with the hitters and their styles on this team. She is a pleasure to work with.

Abbey
Abbey Williams - Villisca High School

5’10        OH        

Abbey is a versatile player who excels as an outside hitter. She is also the back up setter to Wiggins and second on the team in Assists.

Abbey puts up a tough block on the right side and is a great outlet setter when our right back is forced to dig. She has a very high efficiency ratio and is a "go to" player when a high percentage shot is needed. She is also very serious!

I am glad Abbey came to Third Degree. She is a pleasure to coach and always does what she is asked to do.

Former third degree club member Lyndsey Neill is a member of the Augustana College Women's volleyball team that is the 2000 NATIONAL DIVISION 2 RUNNERUP! "Augie" won the North Central Region championship and also the North Central conference.
