Champions! The Strikers won the 2005 Central Jersey Summer Invitational with a gutsy come-from-behind win over Long Island ODP. It was sweet revenge for the Strikers who lost to Long Island the weekend prior in the semis of the Pocono Cup. The Strikers were down by 2 goals until they scored 3 unanswered goals in the final 15 minutes of the game to win 3-2. The winning goal was scored with just 40 seconds left in the game.
