  Welcome

Welcome to the Home of the 2011 Blue Springs Gators!!

Gators Finish One Game Short Of Goal

Shorthanded Gators drop semifinals to Irish, 20-0

Coach Tony watches early on...

The Gators, beset by injuries and absenses, put up a valiant effort on Saturday in the league semifinals, but could not muster enough offense to keep pace, and for the first time ever, failed to reach the Super Bowl.

But just because they will not play in the final game does not mean the season was not a success. In what is likely the most competitive league in the area, if not the two-state area, the Gators finished as regular season league champions at 7-1 and earned the number 1 seed heading into the playoffs, but unfortunately, were matched up against a team in the Irish that seems to have the Gators' number.

Hopefully, the Gators will get another try again next season, as these boys look to end their BSAA football playing days with one final season as 7th graders.

Unfortunately, Chase was under pressure much of the day...

A lot of Gators gang up on this tackle...

T.J. and Brett, playing on sore feet and ankles, didn't let it bother them on this play...

Sage finds out it's tough to make a play when you're getting held...

Gators Outlast Outlaws; Finish Regular Season at 7-1!

Key injury mars finale; shorthanded Gators get bye week to heal before playoffs

This is likely to be Quinn's last carry of 2011. Quinn suffered a greenstick fracture of the collarbone and had some shoulder muscle tear away at the end of this kickoff return.

This interception return for a touchdown from Chase, on the last play of the half, turned the momentum in the Gators favor, as they had not been able to score offensively in the first half...

Anthony was able to scoop this conversion pass before it hit the turf to tie the game at the half.
