About The Carolina Crush Team
The Carolina Crush team was formed in 2004 and is a 16U developmental fastpitch softball team that competes in regional fastpitch softball tournaments.  Located in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area the team travels to tournaments in Nahunta, Hope Mills, Kinston, Clayton, Raleigh, Wilson, Smithfield, Greenville, Myrtle Beach and other locations.  Overnight trips are kept to a minimum to keep the expense to players and parents down.  We do schedule two overnight trips a year to play in tournaments in Myrtle Beach.

The Carolina Crush program is a year-round commitment.  Beginning in January the team starts practicing twice a week.  We start playing tournaments in the early spring and the season ends in November after our final tournament in Myrtle Beach.  Unlike some programs that prefer to play aggressive schedules only during the summer months, the Crush program is committed to keeping players engaged and developing as competitive players throughout the year.  Playing a tournament schedule spread out over the year allows players more time to develop on both physical and mental levels.

About The Carolina Crush Coaches
The Carolina Crush is coached by coaches Jason Frazee and Wallace Frazee of Cape Fear High School (previously at Pine Forest Middle School).  Between them they have 36 years of coaching experience and a love for softball.  All coaches volunteer their time and are dedicated to developing the skills of local fastpitch softball players.

Our coaching philosophy is pretty simple.  Be positive not negative.  Focus more on the right things a player is doing rather than what she isn't doing.  Our primary goal is to have fun. We believe that you are more successful in what you do if you enjoy what you are doing.  The use of positive coaching principles is fundamental in developing young players.  Wins will come when players have the confidence to execute the fundamentals through positive reinforcement and they're having fun playing the game.

Join The Carolina Crush Team
Tryouts are generally held in late December or early January.  But if you are interested in joining the team we encourage you to contact a coach at any time.  Jason Frazee's phone number and email address are located on the bottom left of this page.

There are some expectations that come with being a Crush player.  A player must be committed to a attending practices when scheduled.  Committed to participating in tournaments when scheduled.  Committed to fostering a positive attitude amongst her teammates.  Committed to working hard in practice to take her skills to the next level.

If that sounds like a lot of commitments, you're right.  The coaches strongly feel that the success of this team and it's players will depend on hard work and dedication of each player as well as the support of our parents.  However, we also understand and encourage players to have another interest other than softball.  Such as participating in another sport or participating in school clubs and activities.

Be A Carolina Crush Sponsor
The Carolina Crush is always looking for team sponsors.  Sponsorship money is used to pay tournament entry fees and to purchase equipment for the team.  Remember all coaches are volunteers so all donated money goes directly into supporting the players.

All sponsor's names will be added to our team banner and displayed at every game we play.  Sponsors will also be added to our web site with a link to the sponsors web site.

If you're interested in becoming a Carolina Crush Sponsor contact coach Jason Frazee.
