Heartfelt thanks to the Texas Renegades TDs Neal Douglas and Earl Silverstein for hosting such an organized and well-run tournament. You both are class acts and we appreciated the hospitality.

John ... thanks for all you do. Scott, Steve, and Eddie ... thanks for stepping up. It is noticed and appreciated.
Last, but not least, a big Texas Trouble thanks to the Sugar Land Slam players who came out in the cold to watch the Championship Game and support our team. You ladies were so much fun to be around - we won’t forget you :)

Congratulations to all the Trouble Makers for an excellent tournament! Ally, Alexa, Audrey, Alec, Ashlyn, Callie, Courtney, Cierra, Stephanie, Shelby, and Chastity … the offense was outstanding having outscored their opponents 38-11, and the tough Trouble defense was superb, as usual. Coach Cheri did a magnificent job -- you’re the best! Ladies … you played hard and definitely showed everyone what you’re made of. It’s a shame the weather played a factor in the end result, but the ball takes a bad hop sometimes. Remember this … everyone now knows they’re in "trouble" when they play Texas Trouble! For five good reasons to hold your heads up high, check out *Tournament Recaps*.
Many thanks to the Sugar Land Slam for hosting such a fun tournament. It’s a lot of work and you did a fantastic job! Thanks to the players, coaches, and parents of the Express, Stampede Storm, Magic Nine, and Lake Jackson Storm for the competition and good sportsmanship. Special thanks to Chastity for guesting this weekend … we love having you play with us!
Sunday, November 2
Texas Trouble took two more in co-op play at George Park in Richmond on Sunday, November 2. They soundly beat the Stampede Storm in the first game 6-3 and then stomped the Stampede U-Know in the second game 11-1. The bats were as hot as the balmy Texas weather ... no, they were hotter ... and the opposing teams definitely had difficulty hitting the poised and confident Trouble pitchers, as well as penetrating the always tough Trouble defense. Alec, Ally, Ashlyn, Alexa, Audrey, Courtney, Callie, Cierra, and Shelby ... you ladies were awesome and have a lot to be proud of. You're now 6-1 in co-op play and 1-1 in pools ... bring on those brackets!
Coach Cheri and Stephanie ... we missed you and hope that you both feel better soon.

The Texas Trouble were ready for their inaugural tournament performance as a team, but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and Missouri City had to cancel games for the weekend. The Trouble Makers did manage to get in a couple of pool games Friday, October 24. They came out strong in the first game, easily handling the Sugar Land Angels 11-0. They lost a hard fought second game vs. the Missouri City Magic 5-2, but the score does not indicate how close the game actually was. The offense was on fire, and the defense made some sparkling plays. The girls looked great and were disappointed the tournament was cancelled.
A very special Texas Trouble thank you to old friend and former teammate Teresa "T" (presently playing with the Impact Tanel) who guest played on Friday night. You were awesome, as always! It also was good to see her parents and brother ... Vivian, Orlando (aka Elvis), and Danny. We appreciate your support. Ya'll can play with us anytime :)
Sunday, October 19
Something spooked the Trouble Makers in the first game of a co-op double header in Alief on Sunday, October 19 as the Rose-Rich Stampede Storm handed Trouble their first loss by a 3-1 score. But the loss didn’t dampen the spirits of the Trouble Makers. Perhaps it was those spirits and Coach Cheri that lit a fire under them in the second game where they easily put out the Fulshear Fury’s flame 9-2. Smart heads-up plays coupled with power pitching, hot hitting, and great grabs made it an all-around super day for the ladies! Thanks to the Stampede Storm and the Fulshear Fury for the competition and good sportsmanship. All the girls had fun and it was fun to witch … oops, watch!
Sunday, October 5
In their debut performance, Texas Trouble went undefeated in co-op play at Richmond's George Park October 5. Trouble's first win was vs. the Spring Branch Avalanche 4-3, then they overpowered the Sugar Land Slam 9-3, and finished strong with a 7-4 victory over the West Brazos Sting. It was truly a team effort with awesome pitching, tight defense, and hot hitting. Ashlyn, Cierra, Ally, Alexa, Audrey, Alec, Courtney, Stephanie, Shelby, Callie, and Chastity ... high five's to each one of you and Coach Cheri for a job well done! Special thanks to Chastity for helping us cause so much trouble! Many thanks to the Avalanche, Slam, and Sting for the competition.
