TEXAS SENATORS a 12U Select AA Baseball Team is made up of 12 boys and three coaches. The team is made up of boys from McKinney & Frisco. The team will practice one night a week at My Batters Box in Prosper. Tournaments are played thru the Craig Ranch Ball Fields and various locations in the surrounding area. Regular season games are played In Frisco, McKinney and Celina. Select baseball is a chance for those individuals to reach a higher level of baseball by competing in select leagues and traveling around to metro area tournaments in Texas. The team will play 18 regular season games and enter 2-3 tournaments per month.

Our focus is to teach each player to compete as a team and not as individuals. We believe we accomplish this by teaching good sportsmanship and respect for their teammates, opponents, coaches, families, and umpires. They will learn self discipline through their hard work and by teaching these values it will prepare them for a higher level of play and challenges they will meet as adults.

The Senators swept through the pool games, earning the top seed entering bracket play.  After dismissing the Sherman Colts in the semi-finals, they fell just short against the Paris Heat in the finals.  Losing by a margin of 5 -3.

The Senators finished as runner up in the TCA USSSA Qualifier tournament on April 11th.  This qualifies us to participate in the USSSA State and World Series Tournaments!
