RED RAIDERS TAKE THE #1 SEED!
WOLVERINES 0 AND RED RAIDERS 16
Saturday Night the Texas Red Raiders and Texas Wolverines took the field for the number 1 overal seed in the Conference. With the weather already rainnig, this had the build up to be a old fashion slug fest. As predicted the weather did play a big role in the game as both teams really struggled to gain any offense. The Red Raiders did mount a few drives together that led to 3 points. With the Defense putting in a INT Return for a TD and a Blocked Punt for a TD! The Red Raiders now have the #1 seed going into the playoffs. The Red Raiders will be off next weekend for the Memorial Day Holiday! They will resume play on May 30 with a game at the Gulf Coast Outlaws!

THE BATTLE FOR THE TOP SEED!
Red Raiders Remain Undefeated!
The Red Raiders traveled to the Lone Star Pittbulls and jumped out early and often as they were too much for the Pittbulls to keep up with. With the final score of 43 to 6 the Red Raiders keep their strike alive. The Red Raiders did travel a little underhanded but brought all the energy to the game with Big Play on Offense (from Steven Sarh's 5 TD Passes and Collins Smith and Andrew Turner both 2 TD Receptions. And runnning back Terry Peitree had 17 carries for 135 and TD.) The Defense played at a very aggressive level just like they have all season.
After a great game in the Dallas/Fort Worth area against the Lone Star Pittbulls. The Red Raiders now focus on the Texas Wolverines formally known as the ( Houston Wolverines). The Wolverines like the Red Raiders are have a great season with only one blemish on their record. That one lost came in week 5 against the Red Raiders in a 23-20 final score! This will be a great test for both of these high powered teams heading into the playoffs. And the Top Seed of the Conference will be on the line.

Red Raiders Move to 7-0 in GCFA Play and 10-0 Overall!
Saturday May 2, 2009
The Red Raiders traveled to one of their most heated rivals in the Texas Express. And like the other games this was another classic, as both teams showed lots of emotion and fire. The Express took a 6 to 3 lead in to the second quarter, but the second quarter belonged to the Red Raiders. At the Half it was 13 to 6, Red Raiders. After a blocked punt the Express regained the lead in the third. But like so many times this season the offense answered right back with a score. The fourth had a lot of excitement, but after an Interception at the 3 yard the Red Raiders sealed the game. They left Brenham with a 20 to 14 win. Now the Red Raiders will travel to Fort Worth to play the Lonestar Pittbulls and try to keep their undeafeted record intact.
