TEXAS RAPID FIRE TIES FOR 7TH PLACE OUT OF 59 TEAMS AT THE COLORADO FIREWORKS TOURNAMENT!!!
Texas Rapid Fire took a road trip to Broomfield, Colorado to compete in the Colorado Fireworks Tournament July 2nd -6th. Rapid Fire finished second in their pool with a 3-1 record. A strong performance at the plate produced 32 runs; the second highest for all teams in the tournament, including a 3 run dinger for Michelle. Jules, Darian, Kro, and Coryn, also bounced them off them fence! Rapid Fire continued solid offense, defense, and great pitching in bracket play and finished with a 4-2 record, tying them for 7th place out of 59 teams. The girls had a great time, played extremely well, and enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks again to Kro for helping us out- you were a great asset.

| Summer Time Sluggerfest - 1st place

RAPID FIRE TAKES 1ST IN AUSTIN, TX
Texas Rapid Fire traveled to Austin, Texas to compete in the Summer Time Sluggerfest June 14-15th. Rapid Fire finished strong in pool play with a 7-1 record advancing them to the single elimination bracket. Rapid Fire went undefeated in bracket play beating Texas Prowlers and San Antonio Hitt, to claim their first place finish in the tournament. Rapid Fire outscored their opponents 65-22, and ended the tournament with a 9-1 record. Great job Rapid Fire!!

RAPID FIRE- RUNNER UP IN FT. WORTH METRO CHAMPIONSHIP
Rapid Fire competed in the Ft. Worth Metro Championship on June 21st. After losing their first game, Rapid Fire battled back and won the next three games in a row to advance to the championship "if" game. It was a tough battle that went into two ITB's, and unfortunately, Rapid Fire could not pull out the victory. Even though the outcome was not a first place finish, Rapid Fire worked hard all day, and played well.

RAPID FIRE PLACES 5TH AT HALL OF FAME QUALIFIER
Texas Rapid Fire had a successful weekend in the Hall of Fame qualifier, finishing 5th out of 39 teams. Rapid Fire began playing Friday night and won four consecutive games defeating The Shockers, Texas Power, Texas Elite, and The Bat Busters (Montoya). Solid defense, timely hitting throughout the line up, and outstanding pitching allowed the team to begin Sunday morning play undefeated in the winner’s bracket. Although the pitching and defense remained strong, Rapid Fire could not string enough hits together to bring in base runners when needed in both of Sunday’s games, and thus took home the 5th place finish. Nonetheless, the coaching staff was very happy with the team’s performance, and positive attitude. Overall, it was a great tournament for the girls!
