'93 Texas Pride
Welcome to the '93 Texas Pride web site. The '93 Texas Pride is a team under the Texas Pride organization. We work to develop players so that they can advance to high school play. Our commitment is to teach in a fun environment and that each player is an important part of the team. We measure our success by the development of our players and not by the score of any game. While we play to win, we focus on allowing each player an opportunity to grow...teach the basics and then expect the players to try hard and play to their ability.

The Texas Pride organization hosts teams of all ages for competitive tournament play. For more information, please email Coach Tom at coachtom.t@comcast.net.

'93 Texas Pride Takes 1st in Mesquite
Congratulations to the '93 Texas Pride on thier 1st place finish at the Mesquite June Jam. The team went undefeated in bracket play, had two come-from-behind, walk-off wins, and finished tournament champions.

Way to go Pride!!!

'93 Texas Pride Takes 3rd
'93 Texas Pride
Congratulations to the '93 Texas Pride on their 3rd place finish in Irving April 15th. The team played well and ended bracket play Saturday undefeated with strong wins that were decided before the last pitch was thrown. On Sunday, the team competed in a close game and produced a winning run with two outs and after time had expired.

The wins put the team in a position to go to the finals and they battled for two games, each to the last inning, before taking 3rd.

The weekend included strong pitching, good defense, and lots of hits as the '93 Texas Pride starts with a strong weekend.

Congratulations ladies...

{(:- Looking for Player -:)}
The Texas Pride '93 is looking for one player for the 2007 season. We are looking for a talented player to join our current roster of 10 players.

This is a unique opportunity to get with a fun group of players and parents and to prepare for high school softball.

The Texas Pride '93 will play 14U in 2007 and advance to 16U in 2008; allowing our players the opportunity to better prepare for high school play. We may miss out on some plastic, but they'll have experience against their future high school opponents before their first high school games.

For more information, please contact Tom Miles at coachtom.t@comcast.net

{(:- Texas Pride Advances to "Open" Play, Takes 5th in Allen -:)}
Allen Tourny
In their first "Open" tournament in Allen, the TPS93 ladies showed their stuff and when the dust had cleared, took 5th place in their first "Open" tournament. An obvious step for these ladies, they responded well against the well-respected A teams. They finished on top against the B teams, and even took a win from an A team.

Again, congratulations on a great weekend of softball, and thanks to our opponents for some great play. Your teams help our ladies understand how they can play when they practice, prepare, and focus.

{(:- Texas Pride Takes 4th in Mesquite -:)}
Mesquite
Another great weekend of softball for the Texas Pride '93. After Friday and early Saturday pool games, the TPS93 ladies played all day Saturday and into the night. Two bracket wins put the ladies in position to play on Sunday, and the ladies played well against some top teams to take 4th.

No doubt, another great step in our progress. Congratulations ladies; hustle, focus, and play hard.

{(:- Texas Pride Takes 5th in McKinney -:)}
McKinney

Congratulations to the TPS93 ladies on their 5th place finish in McKinney. After pool playt the team played three great games on Saturday, and advanced to Sunday play. A tuff loss in the last inning cut the day short, but the ladies left knowing that they continue to grow and become better individually and as a team.

Great job ladies!!!

The Texas Pride '93 finished the Mesquite One-Day tournament 2-1 with a strong finish.

After an early morning loss, the Pride played solid and showed their offense, defense, and pitching. In the second game, Devon pitch four solid innings and the TP93 capped off thier first win with strong defeinsive play and an aggressive offense. The win helped avenge an earlier tournament loss and put the TP93 on the winning track.

For the third game, the TP93 jumped out early with 6 runs and never looked back. Inside-the-park home runs by Haley, Jenna, Samantha, and Devon were the highlights of the game and the TP cruised to a 11-2 visctory.

Congratulation TP93, and let's continue this weekend with a strong performance.

Teams Moves South and Joins Texas Pride Organization
After a fun-filled year under the Texas Rage organization, the Texas Rage '93 Red has moved south and joined the Texas Pride organization in Plano, Texas. The move allows many of our current players the opportunity to continue and helps the team eliminate some lengthly travel demands. The Texas Pride thanks the Texas Rage Organization for all of their support, and we wish all of the Texas Rage teams the greatest success. Many thanks to this first-class organization for supporting our girls.

*** Texas Pride '93 (Rage) Completes First 2005 Tournament - 5th palce ***
The Texas Rage 93 Red finished their first tournament October 1-2, 2005 in De Soto, Texas and finished in 5th place out of 19 teams.

The Rage started the tournament with a quick win in their first pool game. Kassidy started the weekend with great pitching, and the rest of the Rage took care of the offense. In the second game of the day, the Rage fell behind early, and with two bracket games later that day, the Rage played conservative to finish 1-1 in pool play.

Our first bracket game was a close battle in the early innings, but the Rage, behind Kassidy's pitching, sealed the win in the final innings for their first bracket game victory. The second bracket game was the most exciting game of the tournament as the Rage battled in a close game through six innings. The Rage fell behind early but kept the game close with solid pitching by Devon. With time expired in the last inning, the Rage started the inning by getting their first batter on base, and a few batters later, the game was tied. The Rage continued to battle a strong pitcher, and with bases loaded and no outs, Brooklyn stole the game with some great base running. The Texas Rage finished their first full day at a tournament with two bracket game victories.

The second day started with a close game into late innings, and the Rage battled, again, to keep the game close. Some late runs by the eventual tournament champion put the team down by 5 in the last inning, and the Rage finished the game out of the winner's bracket. In the second game, the Rage fell behind early, and although they battled to keep the game within reach, ended the day in fifth place.

Congratulations to everyone for their 5th place finish in their first tournament.
