Friday November 20, 2009, the Texas Mavericks Sign WR Brian Robinson (Southwest Baptist University), former Judson High School State Champion. Robinson, 5' 11" 210 lbs., has the size and skill set to be a strong contributor for the 2010 season. 2009 National Minor League Football All-Star WR, Sal Maldonado has signed an extension for the 2010 season. Maldonado hosts a variety of skill sets and will provide some flexibility in the offense for 2010. Maurice Walton, WR/TE/DE, has also signed a 1-year extension, deciding to postpone retirement for a Championship season. The 6' 3" 230 pounder came in to mini camps in great shape and has definitely prepared this off season. Rookie DB, Logan Floyd (Warren High School), signed with the Texas Mavericks on Friday. Strong & aggressive, Logan will be an excellent addition to the secondary. The Mavericks expect some good things in his rookie season in the NMLF. Rookie CB, Jermaine Floyd (Warren High School), young and hungry Jermaine has shown a constant eagerness to learn. He should enjoy accelerated growth with the 2010 coaching staff, as he begins his career. Stay tuned throughout the winter as the Texas Mavericks 2010 roster continues to develop! |
