Saturday December 12th, Wide Receiver, Jerry Clouse signed a 1-year extension eager to help the Texas Mavericks win a Championship in 2010. The former Texas Lutheran University star (51 Rec, 563 Yards and 6 TD at TLU), was a 2009 National Minor League Football All Star, and should have an even bigger year in 2010. The Mavericks also signed rookie Running Back, Antonio Smith, out of Klein High School in Houston Texas. Smith has the size and speed to become a National Minor League Football star, and should get the chance to expand his football career with the Mavs in 2010. Veteran Guard, Ryan Pedraza has also signed a 1-year extension for the 2010 Texas Mavericks football season. Already Vital to the offensive line, Pedraza has shown to be even more effective so far during the mini camps and exhibition. |
