The Texas Magic Baseball Club will hold tryouts on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Bordersville Park. From Downtown Houston take Hwy 59 North, exit fm1960, take a left on 1st Street (Bus. 1960)pass Krogers, go through one light, just pass the apartments, take a left on Hightower Rd., field on the right. Outstanding team performance goes to the Texas Magic 16U Blue/White team for the winning the End of July Classic at John Cooper HS in the Woodlands weekend of 7/25 - 7/26. Beating the Banditos North 9 - 5 in the Championship Game.

Congratulations to the Tx Magic 18U Blue Team for winning the Lamar Univ. Showcase this past weekend. Great job players and Coach Bohanon!

Open Cages will be availables Wednesdays from 7 pm to 9 pm. The 16U teams will hit from 7pm to 8pm and the 18U teams will hit from 8 pm to 9pm.

Directions - From Beltway8 East & Hardy Toll Rd., take Hardy Toll Rd (going Downtown), exit Little York, take a right, go to Bauman (Diary Queen on the corner), take a left, street dead end to Canino St. - Melrose Park (parking lot to the right).

Directions from Houston Downtown: I-10 East (toward Beaumont), exit Mercury Dr. (first exit pass 610 Loop),take a right on Mercury Dr. (go through the neighborhood and an old reservoir), pass the Galena Park HS field on the left, go over the tracks and take a left on 16 St. The field is right beside the pool.

Directions from Humble/Atascocita: Take Beltway 8 East (toward North Shore), take I-10 West (back to Houston) exit Mercury Dr., take a left on Mercury Dr. (go through the neighborhood and an old reservoir), pass the Galena Park HS field on the left, go over the tracks and take a left on 16 St. The field is right beside the pool.
