Texas Express
The Texas Express is a 14-and-under select baseball team. We participate in multiple sanctioned tournaments all over Texas. The Express is a diverse group of young talented players from the Houston area. These boys are not only outstanding baseball players, but are leaders both in and out of the classroom. The Express is more than just a team, the coaches, parents, and players are an extended family committed to developing the skills required to compete at the next level.
World Series Conclusion Ends 2005 Season
The 2005 season is now in the books. The World Series trip was successful but no championship. The Express went 4-3 while in Kingsport finishing 9th overall. The season ending record was by far the best ever for the Express, finishing 51-25. This has been a very productive run over the last three years with the Express. Good luck to all the boys in their next step with competitive baseball. Thanks to all the parents that made the commitment to this team and seeing the boys were at practice and games.
Bid For USSSA South Zone Championship Falls Short
The Express had an outstanding showing but come up short in advancing to championship game in this years USSSA South Zone Tournament. The Express went 4-1 and lost in the semi-final game to the eventual champion S.E. Texas Gators. The Express will now turn their efforts in preparation for the upcoming USSSA 14u World Series in Kingsport,Tenn.
Express Begin Preparation for USSSA State Tournament
After winning the team's second tournament championship preparation begins for the USSSA South Zone State Tournament June 24th-26th at Cy-Fair. This event will have the top teams from south Texas attending. Schedules are now available.

The Express for the first time this season win all 5 games played in a tournament. By doing so, capture their second USSSA NIT championship for 2005. The boys on Sunday played three back to back games and defeat the Spring Hurricanes 9-7 in the championship. Great effort by all 10 players this weekend.
Express To Play In Governor's Games
The Express travel to Lake Charles, La to play in the eighth annual Governors Games. It is the largest tournament in the south. Game times NOW available. We will be playing at Carlyss Park on Saturday.
Express Try For Two In A Row In Humble
The Express try to regroup after a disappointing early exit in last weekend's tournament in Brookshire. The Express will be competing in the Humble USSSA NIT in hopes of duplicating their last effort in a Humble NIT by capturing another championship. Schedules are now available for this weekend.

EXPRESS ON THE ROAD TO BROOKSHIRE
After taking two weeks off from tournament play, the Express will compete in the Mother's Day Classic at Brookshire-Katy. Sunday's games are rained-out and will be rescheduled for next weekend.
Thursday, April 14
Express Take Second at S.K.
The Express playing in their third consecutive championship game finished runners-up to the Gators of East Texas at Spring-Klein's USSSA NIT. It was another great weekend of championship baseball. This weekend's efforts improves the Express record to 20 - 10 - 1 for the season. The team has already qualified for the USSSA World Series in Tennessee this July.

Humble NIT
"2005 HBA USSSA NIT CHAMPIONS"
The Express capture their first championship of the 2005 season defeating the Beaumont Gladiators 15-4. This now qualifies the Express for the USSSA World Series in July. A great team effort by the boys to get this done. For the second weekend in a row the team has played for the championship.
