Cobras' Organizational Goal
"Success in athletics can be measured in many ways. The Texas Cobra's coaching staff feels that their primary goals is to help develope the whole person, not just the athlete, and help assist each young lady in getting a scholarship from a quality university or college. We encourage our players to seek a college or university they would like to attend, not just a softball team for which they would like to play. The Coaching staff strives to have a positive impact on the lives of these young ladies, both on and off the field . Attaining these goals will ensure our continued success......"

They say all good things must end , and in the summer of 2007 it happened . The Texas Cobras played their final game . The Texas Cobras ( original Humble Cobras ) were established in 1987 with one agenda ..... to help the student athlete get into a college or university to enrich their lives . . . Over the past 20 years , through the hustle and hard work of the players ( and with a little help from the coaches over the years ) their dreams were achieved . My hat goes off to EVERYONE involved in helping these young ladies reach their goals .
